Keep Value in the Roof.
Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.
- Albert Einstein
The first step in creating value is keeping value.
Many of our clients come to us after playing "whack-a-mole" with leaks on their buildings. It is very typical for large companies to deal with leaks when they become a problem inside the building. That approach exposes the company to unnecessary expense and risk and degrades the value of the roof.
To keep value in the roof, one must:
- Maintain the constitution of the waterproofing layer to prevent damage to the substrate
- Perform maintenance activities that will contribute to the eventual re-roof or coating, rather than be an additional cost to remove
- Not replace the roof before it is necessary! (this is very common)
We work with our clients to develop the approach that fits their business goals and constraints, and maximizes their value within that.
